Hannah Bernard-Bell

Founding Scholar

Hannah is a Founding Scholar at Academy. She recently graduated from The University of Nottingham where she obtained a Masters in Engineering.

Whilst at University she founded the Women’s Engineering Society to promote women in STEM disciplines. She has been looking for an opportunity to develop her technical skills and so is very excited about being part of Academy’s founding story!

“Academy provided me with the opportunity to pursue a career in technology, a discipline that I believed wasn’t available to me due to my lack of technical experience.

I was inspired by Academy’s focus on increasing diversity through making a career in technology available to all, not just those who have gone down the ‘traditional route’.

It is a fantastic opportunity to develop myself both technically and professionally, alongside an esteemed faculty and profound group of scholars.”
