1. We've launched our ASE Development Framework

Katie, Leadership & Performance Partner updates us on our new development framework for our ASEs

“Our associate software engineers are former scholars, so we know we’re dealing with buckets of potential.

Amplify, our new development pathway for ASEs focuses on building three core skill sets that are sought after in the tech industry: engineering mindset, progressive leadership, and facilitation excellence.

Through tailored coaching and training, we’re investing in our ASEs so that they can succeed as a leader in any tech space.

More updates are to come as we see the impact of the framework for our ASEs.”

2. A new Academite joins!

Paddy, Operations and Community, updates on a new starter at Academy!

“We’re really excited to share the news that Cory Johnson is joining Academy.

Cory joins us after scaling one of Europe’s fastest-growing EdTech startups, BibliU.

This experience will be pivotal for Academy in the coming months as we look to make 2022 a year to remember for everyone involved with Academy.

Cory shared a few words on joining Academy:

I’ve really loved getting to know the Academy team and their mission: diversifying and demystifying tech, with highly competitive skills-based bootcamps for recent grads, career changers and more.

This is incredibly important, not only because it’s the right thing for society to do, but because there are fewer and fewer entry-level opportunities out there (especially if you’re not one of the privileged few!) and a big crunch on talent at tech firms globally.

Academy solves this twofold problem. I’m delighted to be a part of the team making this better world of work a reality.

Let’s hit the ground running!

Great to have you, Cory!”
